His articles on topics including 'pink-washing' in sport and the controversial decision to host the 2022 Men's World Cup in Qatar regularly led the BBC Sport website, and he played a key role in setting the editorial direction of BBC Sport's content and features in both LGBT+ History Month and Pride Month.
